Texas company facing employment discrimination lawsuit
An employment discrimination lawsuit was recently filed against a company in Austin due to allegations that they retaliated and discriminated against one of their former employees in 2014, an article of SE Texas Record reported.
According to reports, the American Eagle Protective Services Corporation allegedly violated the rights of their former employee Christine Reid, who started with them in 2012. In the lawsuit filed by Reid, she accused American Eagle of terminating her from her work as a security agent. The company was further accused of using Reid’s previous medical condition against her, causing her to claim she was discriminated and retaliated against.
